Delta State rejoiced as a united squad of police officers and vigilantes fired down a notorious armed robbery suspect, Diamond ‘m’ (surname unknown) a.k.a FOWLBOY, who had been tormenting people of the area and its environs NewsReport gathered.

 

According to the DAILY POST, the deceased was killed after a gunfight.

 

This comes after three other members of the robbery syndicate fled with bullet wounds at Sapele’s Amukpe axis.

 

This online information learned that the suspect was also found with one cut-to-size locally-made gun, a military camouflage jumper, and seven cell phones.

 

The murdered suspect and three others were discovered in the house of one individual (name withheld) in Amukpe Sapele during a robbery operation.

 

The police were notified, and they immediately mobilized to the area, where the armed robbers engaged them in a gun battle.

 

During the process, the police fired and injured the known armed robber, who was brought to the hospital and declared dead by the on-duty doctor.

In a statement signed by the Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, the Delta State Police Command, commanded by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, confirmed the report.
