The legal battle between former Governor Yahaya Bello and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has taken another turn as the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court is set to deliver a ruling on May 10 regarding Bello’s application to set aside the arrest warrant issued against him.

Pinheiro, on the other hand, maintained that Bello must be physically present in court before any application can be considered, given the nature of the criminal case. However, Adedipe pointed out that the EFCC had also made an application after the arrest warrant was issued, which the court had granted.
