A 60-Year-Old Nigerian Man Has Been Arrested In India For Cocaine Trafficking

On Friday, the Mumbai crime branch’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested a 60-year-old Nigerian national with cocaine worth Rs 39 lakh as part of its crackdown on drug peddlers. Chima Collins Ejiofor alias Musiliu, a Delhi resident, has been named as the suspect Newsreport gathered.
During a night patrol on Friday, the Worli ANC team spotted a Nigerian national moving suspiciously near Mumbai Central Railway station, according to officials. He was apprehended, and 139 grams of cocaine were discovered during his search of this online information was learned.
Chima was arrested at the Worli ANC unit under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
On Saturday, he appeared in court, where he was remanded in police custody.
Chima had been in India for a couple of years, according to officials. He is said to have been a member of a drug peddlers’ gang and procured the drugs from Kharghar in Navi Mumbai during the investigation. In Kharghar, ANC officials have launched a manhunt for peddlers.
