Boderi, the Notorious Bandit from Kaduna, is Dead.
Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has recently praised the Nigerian Army for their successful operation in eliminating the notorious bandit, Boderi Isyaku. The governor expressed his gratitude towards the troops for neutralizing Boderi and some of his fighters in a gun battle that took place in the Bada/Riyawa general areas of Chikun and Igabi LGAs of Kaduna State.
In a statement released by the overseeing Commissioner of the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, titled ‘Target Acquired, Justice Served: Boderi Falls to Security Forces’, Governor Sani described the killing of Boderi as a significant milestone in the ongoing fight against terrorism and banditry in the region.
Boderi Isyaku, who had instilled fear and carried out brutal attacks, mass abductions, and relentless killings in Kaduna State and neighboring Niger State for nearly a decade, was finally brought to justice. The governor highlighted the dedication and hard work of the troops in restoring peace and security in the area, with General Officer Commanding, 1 Division, Nigerian Army, Major General VU Okoro, leading the operation with meticulous planning and intelligence.
During the operation, the troops successfully ambushed Boderi and his associates in the Bada general area of Chikun LGA, despite the terrorists’ well-fortified position. Boderi and his fighters were cornered and ultimately eliminated, marking a significant victory in the fight against terrorism and banditry in the region.
Governor Sani emphasized that the successful elimination of Boderi Isyaku demonstrates the effectiveness of determined and coordinated efforts by security forces in confronting those who seek to spread fear and chaos in society.
