The “Humour Awards” recognized Saka, Wale Adenuga, and others.

The second annual “Humour Awards,” which were presented last weekend on Victoria Island in Lagos, awarded comedy industry players in addition to veteran cartoonist, producer, and media tycoon Wale Adenuga of Wale Adenuga Productions.

NewsReport that Four honorees were inducted into the hall of fame at the event. Aside from Adenuga, the other three individuals were actors Nkem Owoh, Sunday Omobolanle (Aluwe), and Afeez Oyetoro (Saka); and actress Ngozi Nwosu.

The event was also attended by younger comedians, skit makers, and content creators, who got different prizes in the 20 categories of the awards.

Anita Asuoha, aka Real Warri Pikin, won the award for “Most Creative Comedy Show” for her event, “Unfiltered 2022.” Also, popular skit maker and social activist Adebowale Adedayo, aka Mr. Macaroni, won the “Comedy Humanitarian Award.”

One of the highlights of the event was when comedian and singer Kehinde Otolorin, aka Kenny Blaq, mimicked controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, which had guests cracking their ribs.

Media personality Denrele Edun was the host of the event.
