The groom was overjoyed with all of his dancing moves to the selected song by the disc jungle DJ.

Newsreport gathered that the wedding was one like never before, with officers present at the occasion to honor the couple.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The custom officers had a parade match to welcome the couple, with swords crossed across for the couple to be welcomed, before the opening prayer by Mr. Musa Naif.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The couple had their first dance on the dance floor, and families and friends sprayed money to honour the couple with gift presentations. Immediately after the dance by the couple, the opening prayer and introduction of the chairman followed.

The biography of the Chairman of the Occasion was read aloud by the MC.
The chairman was born August 5th, 1961, in Kete-Krachi, then in the Volta Region, and he attended primary and middle schools in Kete-Krachi.
He passed the Common Entrance Examination and was admitted to Tamale Secondary School in 1974.completed Form 5 in 1979.
He gained admission to Mount Mary College, Somanya, in 1980, where I specialized in the teaching of English and French.
He was taught French at SDA Secondary School and Methodist Junior High School from 1986 to 1989.
As a junior officer, he joined the then-Customs Excise and Preventive Service (CEPS) in 1990, where he studied at the University of Ghana from 1996 to 2000, and was promoted to assistant collector the following year.
He completed his Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Ghana between 2003 and 2005.
He worked at Tema Port, where he sat for examination of goods, classification, and valuation; later, he was transferred to the Human Resources Department in February 2005 as a Human Resource Officer.
He said during his time at the HR Department, he took numerous courses both in and out of the country. Notable among them:

–Supervision for Results,
Analysis and Evaluation of Training Needs
Managing Discipline for Effective Performance
Customs Administrative Techniques in South Korea
Strategic Leadership and Labor Management Relations
Developing middle and senior management capacity in the UK, just to name a few

From November 2013 to May 2016, I was seconded to the United Nations Organization in Cote d’Ivoire (UNOCI).
Responsibilities included training the Côte d’Ivoire Customs, uniting the Côte d’Ivoire Treasury, and restoring state authority.

In the HR Department, I was in charge of recruitment, selection, and placement.

I was appointed Sector Commander for the Oti Region in 2020 and promoted to Assistant Commissioner the following year.

I retired from active service in August 2021.

“I’m now a farmer and a consultant,” he says.
