NewsReport gathered that the company raised prices on everything from Nespresso capsules to DiGiorno frozen pizzas and Purina dog food in the first quarter; consumers in North America were the hardest hit, with an 8.5 percent price increase.In Latin America, Nestlé product prices increased by 7.7%, the second-highest increase in the world.

Those price rises haven’t hurt Nestle’s balance sheet: it expects sales to grow 5% for the full year.
