PAUL OBAZELE’S AGENDA SHOCKS LABOUR PARTY
The presentation of Nollywood icon and gubernatorial aspirant Paul Agbonze Obazele dazzled an Edo State Labour Party executive like a cornered boxer.
The nollywood icon and governorship aspirant highlighted the areas of Edo State that are suffering, as well as a detailed blueprint for elevating the state’s socioeconomic activities to a global level.
Previously, Comrade Kelly Agbaloi, the Edo State Chairman of the Labour Party, stated that the party is looking for a candidate who can take the state to new heights and believes Paul Obazele’s candidacy holds the magic wand.
The Labour Party executive was stunned by the crowd, which besieged the Secretariat, chanting, “Paul Obazele, we want him as our governor.”
Paul Obazele, who is a highly respected elder statesman in Nollywood and currently the President of Legends of Nollywood and former president of the Association of Movie Producers, gave hope to the crowd, telling them, “The time to take your future into your hands is now so that we all can be proud to say we are Edolites.”.
He lamented, wandering why Edo States with so much natural and human resources would be subjected to dehumanization by indigenes from states where good governance abounds, assured to utilize Edo State allocations as well as attract investors to the state if elected as governor.
Paul Obazele stated boldly that he is not deterred by plans to turn the Labour Party into a circus of sharing money but rather by the principle of good governance and the right choice of the people, which favours him more.
He was later prayed for by the Labour Party’s state executive and charged with making a difference if given the ticket as the party’s gubernatorial candidate.
