NewsReport gathered that the father of Prince Eze Madumere, former Deputy Governor of Imo State, and Traditional Ruler of Ezi – Mbieri Autonomous Community in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State, has been kidnapped.

On Friday, November 19, 2021, at around 10 a.m., he was reportedly abducted by some hoodlums in the vicinity of Iho Community in the Ikeduru local government area of the State following sporadic shootings.

The unfortunate incident has generated a lot of anxiety in the two neighboring local governments of Mbaitoli and Ikeduru.

His son, Prince Madumere, the former Deputy Governor of the state, when contacted confirmed the incident and also disclosed that his father’s abductors have contacted the family for ransom

HRH, Eze Madumere was a renowned businessman, Contractor, and member of the Nigerian Independence Choir.

Meanwhile, the Police Command and other security agencies say they are already on the top of the situation to apprehend the suspects
