BREAKING: Labour Party candidate has been killed.

The Labour Party candidate for Enugu East Senatorial District, Oyibo Chukwu, has been shot dead by gunmen.

NewsReport gathered that Chief. Bar Oyibo Chukwu was reportedly shot and burned along with his vehicle and some other occupants. He was said to be returning from a campaign trip when the attack occurred around the Agbani area of the state.

Chief. Bar Oyibo Chukwu was a legal practitioner in Enugu with over thirty years of experience at the bar until his death.

He recently filed a suit challenging the candidacy of the PDP in the Enugu East senatorial contest in the forthcoming general elections following the expulsion of Chimaroke Nnamani from the PDP.
