Adeyanju bemoaned in a tweet on Sunday that Obi’s fans had endangered the lives of anyone who had criticized him and were smearing them mercilessly.
He claimed that he, Reno, Sowore, Sega, Sam, and himself had all received death threats from Obi’s fans.
The activists said that this was a sentiment-heavy version of the disastrous IPOB tactic.
“Everyone that has criticized Peter Obi has been threatened with death and a campaign of calumny by his supporters.
“From Reno, Sowore, Sega, Sam and now me. He is raising terrorists in the name of running for president. Same IPOB strategy that failed mixed with sentiments,” he tweeted.
Segun Awosanya, popularly known as SEGA L’éveilleur, said Nigeria belonged to all Nigerians, saying Obi could not give to the youth what already belonged to them.
“The click bait campaign won’t upstage the dominant contenders. We must stop raising false hopes and address the real issues. Insults & abuses are no structures. Stop encouraging division,” he said.
He further tweeted: “Liars and serial blackmailers. God forbid bad thing! Nigeria will never be thrown into chaos!”
