Victor Olaotan, a Veteran Nollywood Actor, has Died.

Victor Olaotan, a veteran Nollywood actor who died in a horrible vehicle accident over four years ago, has died.

According to information gathered by, Olaotan died on Thursday, August 26th.

The actor was earlier airlifted to Turkey for immediate medical attention after becoming injured in an automobile accident on the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.

A group of well-intentioned Nigerians and benefactors, including his colleagues and supporters, flocked to his help financially, notably millionaire Femi Otedola.

Olaotan was most known for playing Fred Ade Williams on Mnet’s flagship soap Tinsel for about seven years before his death.

Victor Olaotan who was born in Lagos in the early 50’s, studied drama at the University of Ibadan, at the Obafemi Awolowo University and at Rockets University, United States.

An accomplished stage and screen actor, Olaotan warmed his way into the consciousness of television viewers, playing the leading role in Tinsel.
