Unknown Assailants Allegedly Killed a PDP Youth Leader in Imo State.

NewsReport gathered that Kenneth Amukamara, the youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party in Imo State’s Oru-East Local Government Area, was slain by unidentified gunmen on Monday night, May 31.
According to Punch, the hoodlums invaded Kenneth’s house, killed him, set fire to his home, and damaged his brother’s vehicles, which are reported to be retired military.
In a statement released, the PDP State Youth Leader, Greg Nwadike, confirmed the occurrence, saying that the perpetrators not only killed Kenneth but also set his house on fire.
In part, the statement reads:
“Finally verifying Kenneth Amukamara, the PDP LGA Youth Leader for Oru-East LGA in Imo State, was assassinated. Assailants assassinated him on Monday night at his home in Awo-Omamma, and his house was set on fire, according to reports.
Two other members of his family were reportedly slain, according to the limited information available. I had previously warned Imo youngsters to keep out of mischief and to be cautious. May his spirit find eternal rest.”
Bala Elkana, the state police command’s spokesperson, declined to comment. He claims he has yet to get any information concerning the incident.
