NewsReport gathered that today, a woman who has been identified as the wife of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Abba Kyari, fainted in the Federal High Court in Abuja.

The reason for the slump has not been determined, but an eyewitness said she slumped on the ground shortly after trial Justice Emeka Nwite deferred ruling on applications filed by DCP Kyari and six other people charged with drug trafficking with him to be released on bail pending the outcome of the case against them.

She collapsed on the floor as armed National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) agents led Kyari and the others out from the courtroom.
