NewsReport gathered that Mr. Richard Sylvanus, a filmmaker, was arrested by the Federal Capital Territory Police Command for alleged impersonation.

The suspect allegedly opened YouTube and Gmail accounts in the name of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

Sylvanus was accused of defrauding people to the tune of N1m.

According to a source familiar with the case, Daniels’ lawyer reported the incident to police, and the suspect was arrested.

DSP Josephine Adeh, the FCT police spokesperson, confirmed the arrest and said the matter was being investigated.
