Popular Bayelsa Fast Rising Artist Mr. Mike Son of the Soil
NewsReport Nigeria gathered that in an interview with the popular Bayelsa music artist, Mike Ayibakuro Boukoru, better known by his stage name Mr. Mike Son of the Soil.
The well-known Bayelsa musician has been using his music to preach the love and oneness of a nation.
The Bayelsa-born musician from Akassa kingdom in Brass Local Government Area of the state said that his music was also aimed at encouraging young people to develop their talents and create fun in the South-South region.
Our nature is blessed with so many resources, and we are blessed in this country. Nigeria is a blessed country that others like to associate with us, so I believe that blessing is always there for us, and my track “BLESSING” is just emphasizing our country, Nigeria, and the people in the country.
Having had a musical background in his family, he was inspired to motivate and discourage societal ills among young people. Mr. Mike said
He said that his newly released music, titled ‘Blessing’, is to awaken in young people the consciousness that God has blessed them with special talents and gifts, adding that they only need to develop them instead of indulging in antisocial activities.
He said: “I have released about 36 songs, though I am a marine engineer trained in Ghana. I have a passion for music. The passion is aimed at achieving a better society and discouraging our youth from societal ills.
“I have just released a song titled ‘Blessing’.
I am working with my group to ensure that our youth are engaged meaningfully at the same time. I am managing my marine firm in Port Harcourt.”
