NewsReport gathered that Osita Okechukwu, the Director-General of Voice of Nigeria, was arrested on Saturday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged conspiracy, abuse of office, and misappropriation of public funds totaling N1.3 billion.
He was said to have arrived at the anti-graft agency’s headquarters in Abuja around 1.30 pm to honor an invitation but was detained and interrogated.
