NNPC Partners with Afreximbank on Landmark African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE)
NNPC Limited’s Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Dapo Segun, joined industry leaders and the President of Afreximbank, Dr. Benedict Oramah, on a high-level tour of the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja. This modern medical facility aims to transform healthcare in Nigeria and West Africa, focusing on treating oncology, hematology, and cardiology diseases.
As a strategic partner of Afreximbank, NNPC Limited will become an equity investor in AMCE. The project, currently in its construction and operational phases, has already created about 3,000 jobs.
With commercial operations set to begin on June 5, 2025, the AMCE marks a significant step in advancing specialized medical care in the region.
