Davido expresses heartfelt gratitude to his friends and colleagues, fans, and the general public for their generous expressions of love in recent days, in his usual lighthearted manner NewsReport learned.
I requested a few days ago that my friends and colleagues send me money to celebrate my birthday, the response and outcome far exceeded my expectations, with approximately N200,000,000.00 received in less than two days.
Davido continues by thanking everyone who donated their hard-earned money, saying, “I am very grateful for your generosity.”
Davido stated that he is passionate about giving back and helping people and that all funds received, totaling N200,000,000.00, will be donated to orphanages across Nigeria as well as the Paroche foundation. In addition, he is contributing N50.000.000.00 to the total of N250,000.000.00.
Davido appointed a five-person disbursement committee to compile a list of orphanages across Nigeria. The committee will also decide how much of the money will be donated to the Paroche Foundation.
A list of all beneficiaries, along with their verified account information, will be submitted to Wema bank, who will then be instructed to credit each beneficiary’s account.
