In a distressing turn of events, kidnappers have struck again in the Guita community, Chikakore in Kubwa, and Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja. This time, the perpetrators have demanded a hefty N30 million ransom for the safe return of two teenage sisters they abducted.
The harrowing incident took place late on Sunday night, with six bandits descending upon the community and seizing the 16- and 14-year-old girls from their homes. This brazen act has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving families and residents understandably anxious and concerned for the safety of their loved ones.
It is disheartening to note that the Chikakore community has recently raised concerns about the state of the major road linking their area, citing it as a contributing factor to the spate of kidnappings.
