Dr. Chioma Ejikeme has been reappointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to a four-year term as the executive secretary of the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD).
The decision took effect on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, as confirmed by a post from the official PTAD X account.

Dr. Ejikeme had temporarily handed over the management of PTAD to Mr. Sulayman Shelleng, the Director of the Civil Service Pension Department, in September, marking the expiration of her initial term.
She was initially appointed to this position by former President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Dr. Ejikeme now returns to her role with the vital responsibility of ensuring the timely payment of pensions to retirees under the Defined Benefit Scheme.
