Jigawa Gov. Issues 30-day Ultimatum to Prostitutes to Evacuate

This online information learned that speaking through Council Chairman Alh. Zaharadden Abubakar, who welcomed a delegation from the Sara community, a prominent weekly market, at his office on Friday, revealed this.
He stated that the goal is to combat state immorality.
Before the dateline expires, all commercial sex workers in the area must provide the names of their suitors to the proper authority or leave the state.
He went on to say that the council is willing to marry off all of the repentant indigenous commercial sex workers and handle all of the wedding arrangements.
Non-indigenous sex workers in the state will be repatriated by the council, according to Abubakar.
He also ordered the immediate shutdown of all nightclubs and taverns.
The mayor said that the council had enlisted the help of police and other security organizations to apprehend defaulters.
