NewsReport gathered that the Central East Regional Command launches an operation at Iron City Esebebor Kasoa and three foreign-rented houses.
Nigerians were searched. 26 suspects, including two females, were apprehended.
Exhibits from their rooms included 31 laptops, 26 assorted mobile phones, 5 machetes, and substances believed to be canaries.
They are all in police custody in Cosodi and will be tried in court if found guilty, with the exception of the two females, who will be screened and prosecuted if found guilty.
According to the Police DCOP, Kasao has gained authority as a result of Nigerians, and he now advises landlords and others to report anyone who appears suspicious to security or, more importantly, the police.
