The media personality Denrele Edun claims that many young people tried to persuade him to join the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality show.

Karen Igho, the eventual winner of that season, revealed that the transgender had assisted her with her application, Edun gained notoriety as an easy way to appear on the reality show in 2012.

Speaking on Lunch Date, Edun claimed that people who are trying to get on the reality show send him nude and cash offers worth between N100 million and N30 million.
