Chief Dele Momodu, the renowned publisher of Ovation Magazine, paid a visit to his father’s rented house on Oke – Ijan Street in the ancient town of Ile-Ife, Osun State, where he lived when he was 9 years old, demonstrating his humble upbringing.
NewsReport gathered that Dele Momodu, despite being from Edo State, has always associated himself with Ile-Ife because he received all of his education there, including his university education at Obafemi Awolowo University, where he earned a BA in Yorùbá Language and an M.A in English, as well as his NYSC.
It feels like a second when we grow up in a town other than our hometown. Ile-Ife is also the hometown of late Tell Magazine Journalist Dele-Giwa, who grew up there.
