Unknown gunmen stormed the area, forcing people to flee into the bush.

An eyewitness claims that “As unknown gunmen struck in Ezinifite, Aguata, Anambra State, Nigeria police officers abandoned their checkpoints and fled into the bush.

Their car was set on fire.”
