Nnamdi Kanu granted access to a medical doctor of his choice, recall the Indigenous people of Biafra earlier said Kanu Ear Surgery will never be accepted under DSS Custody
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja grants NNAMDI KANU’s application to have access to a medical doctor of his choice outside the facilities of DSS and all his records made available to him.
According to Aloy Ejimakor, Special Counsel to Nnamdi Kanu. earlier said that the selection of the medical professionals and legal counsel assisting Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is entirely his responsibility.

BREAKING: Kanu granted Access to a Medical Doctor of his choice
Ejimakor made this known in a press release on Saturday 17th of June 2023 while reacting to a statement by the IPOB Head of the Directorate of State, Chika Edoziem, on June 8, which barred him from visiting Kanu in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Speaking on the statement, the lawyer disclosed that Kanu has not prevented him from being his lawyer or stopped him from visiting him at DSS headquarters, adding that his health issues must be a concern for everyone.
Ejimakor said, “My attention has been drawn to a defamatory press release presently in active publication and circulation, signed and distributed by one Chika Edoziem, purporting to be the Leader of the IPOB Department of State, stating that he has banned me from visiting my client, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at the DSS, where he is being detained extrajudicially and unconstitutionally.
