Bandits Kidnap a Zimbabwean in Kaduna, Where a Soldier is Assumed Slain.
In Anchau, Kabau Council of Kaduna, one soldier was killed, and two farm company officials were kidnapped by alleged bandits.
A Zimbabwean and a Nigerian were reportedly kidnapped by the gunmen on Wednesday about 1:30 pm after they broke into the business. NewsReport learned
The Zimbabwean was identified as Mr. Charles Choko by a vigilante active in the neighborhood who spoke with a journalist in Kaduna.
According to him, ‘they (bandits) attacked and killed a soldier working in the farm company and also Kidnapped one Mr. Charles Choko from Zimbabwe and one Yusuf Aliyu Bello from Kano State,” he said.
A villager who pleaded anonymity said that he saw a team of security agencies on Friday ýgoing into the nearby bush in search of the victims.
Meanwhile, Kaduna Police Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Muhammad Jalige, could not immediately confirm the incident.
He, however, promised to find out the details and revert, but he had not done so as of the time of filing this report.
