In preparation for the general elections, the governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, met yesterday with APC candidates and other party members.
According to information obtained by The Guardian, the gathering at the Government House Ground in Alagbaka, Akure, was called to plan for the next elections.
The governor, who is the South-West Coordinator of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, announced dates for the party’s senatorial campaign rallies in the state, charging party leaders and members to work hard for the coming elections.
According to him, the Ondo South Senatorial campaign rally will be held on January 23 in Okitipupa, while the rally for the Central Senatorial District will come up on January 30, 2023 in Ondo town.
He added that the North Senatorial Campaign rally would be held on February 6, 2023 in Owo, Owo Local Council.
Akeredolu, who gave the assurance that the party would emerge victorious, said the APC is the party to beat in the state.
