The gentleman on his way to Uyo, was shot dead by a military personnel after giving a free ride him to ikot Abasi in Akwa Ibom state via Eleme junction PH.

NewsReport Nigeria gathered that the car owner anticipated that the military officer would assist him with the several checkpoints along Ogoni Road.
The vehicle was tracked to a hotel named Ukanafu Local Government in the early hours of today, which was unknown to the military officer, using a gadget that was promptly activated by security officers.
The army was taken to the state police headquarters today, he was handed over to the police for prosecution.
This was spotted by an eyewitness at the Ikot Apkan Police Headquarters.
