6th Impactful Women Award: A Convergence of female pace setters
The impact of women across every sector of society cannot be overemphasized. Today, women are becoming channels of positive change and must be commended for the vibe and enthusiasm they bring to workplace activities, leadership, and governance.
On Friday, December 15, 2023, the 6th Impactful Women Award will be held in Accra at the ultra-modern Mikado Event Center Labone Junction-Accra from 4 p.m. The theme is ‘Celebrating and Honoring the Efforts of Outstanding Women Across the Globe’.
Comrade Barry Ndu N., the convener of this global event, while speaking to the media, confirmed the nomination of so many great women who are making an impact in society. He assured that this year’s event would be spectacular and even more glorious than past editions because of the magnitude of dignitaries expected at the event. He urged women to keep working towards making the world a better place.
Comrade Barry explained that there would be a launch to support women with breast cancer. He noted that their organization has a youth entrepreneurship center where young women without university education are trained on skills to make them less dependent on the government for jobs.
Ms. Priscilla Amponsah, Director of Strategy at the Impactful Women Award Initiative, promised a world-class event and urged individuals who are passionate about the progress of women to attend as they keep collaborating to make the world a better place.
Hon. Lariba Zuweira Abudu, the Minister for Gender Children and Social Protection, would be delivering the keynote address, while Dr. Nora Bannerman-Abbott,CEO of Sleek Garment Export Ltd., would deliver a brief lecture.
