After a missile assault on Ukraine’s Kramatorsk train station killed at least 52 people, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy remarked, “This is yet another Russian war crime for which everyone responsible will be held accountable.” He went on to say that Russian’state propaganda’ attempted to blame the strike on the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to Ukrainian police, a missile struck a train station in eastern Ukraine where thousands had congregated on Friday, killing at least 52 people and injuring dozens more in an attack on a throng of primarily women and children seeking to avoid a new, imminent Russian offensive.

The attack, denounced by some as yet another war crime in the 6-week-old conflict, came as workers unearthed bodies from a mass grave in Bucha, a town near Ukraine’s capital where dozens of killings have been documented after a Russian pullout.

The US believes Russia used a short-range ballistic missile in an attack on the Kramatorsk train station that killed at least 52 people, including five children, in eastern Ukraine. Russia has denied that it is responsible for the attack.
