The event was graced by the Chairman, of Transcorp Group, Tony Elumelu, CFR, who personally planted a tree on the premises of the iconic Transcorp Hilton Abuja, a symbolic act, and a reminder that trees play an essential role in mitigating the impact of climate change.
World Environment Day, celebrated annually on the 5th of June, is a global initiative that encourages worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment.
