Why Are Oyingbo Market Traders Fighting Tinubu’s Daughter?
NewsReport gathered that traders at the popular Oyingbo market staged a peaceful protest yesterday, November 17, following the market’s closure.
Protesting merchants held placards with various inscriptions. According to one of the placards, “Ahmed Tinubu’s daughter, Folashade Tinubu Ojo, leaves Oyingbo Market alone. Hear our cries, Mainland Local Government.”
Another vendor held a sign that read, “Folashade Ojo Tinubu, we have children and house rent to pay.” We refused to be scumbags.”
It is unclear what their beef is with Shade Tinubu. Shade is the current president of the Nigerian Association of Commodity Market Women and Men.
