The Benin Republic’s security operators have deleted Sunday Adeyemo, known as Sunday Ighoho, leg chain and man-cuff, from Yoruba Nation agitator.
NewsReport gathered that the Communications Manager of Ilana Omo Oodua, Maxwell Adeleye, made this known while giving an update on the state of Igboho’s health.
He said: “We are pleased to inform everyone who loves Yoruba that since Saturday evening the safety operators in Benin have taken away Chief Ighoho’s leg chain and handcuff.
“Chief Ighoho’s Wife is now allowed three times daily to meet her husband.
“Chief Sunday Adeyemo has been examined by medical personnel provided by our legal team.
“We reiterate that in the Republic of Benin Chief Ighoho is not subject to any immigration probes.
“Chief Sunday Adeyemo is due this morning to appear in court in the Benin Republic to face the Nigerian Government’s likely extradition charges.
“We urge Nigerian supporters not to bother to come to the Benin courthouse. Stay in Nigeria and receive prayer support and everything you can do in the area of law. We trust Chief Igboho will be released.”
