Stanbic IBTC Bank launched the Reward4Saving Program in 2021 in an effort to encourage Nigerians to save judiciously. In the most recent January draw, 70 active customers received N100,000 each, for a total of 1,424 beneficiaries.
The essence of the Reward4Saving Promo lies in incentivizing customers to save diligently by offering rewards for achieving specific savings targets. Customers who actively save a minimum of N10,000 in their @ease wallet or savings accounts have the chance to win cash prizes. The promo, now in its third season, will continue until August 2024.
During the January draw, 10 winners were selected from each of the seven business regions where the bank operates in Nigeria. These winners were each rewarded with N100,000. The cumulative amount rewarded so far totals N234 million, benefiting over 1,424 customers.
The promo structure includes monthly draws where 70 customers receive N100,000 each, quarterly draws awarding seven customers N1 million each, and a grand finale where seven customers will be rewarded with N2 million. The consistent savings habits of customers have seen 357 winners receive cash prizes ranging from N100,000 to N1 million.
Layo Ilori-Olaogun, Head of Middle Market and Youth Segment at Stanbic IBTC Bank, emphasized the importance of the promo in instilling healthy financial habits among Nigerians. She highlighted the significance of rewarding customers for their dedication to saving, especially in challenging economic times.
The promo is open to both new and existing customers who save a minimum of N10,000 in their savings account or @ease wallet for at least 30 days.
