NewsReport gathered that after the APC primary election held at Eagle Square, Abuja, Professor Yemi Osinbanjo congratulated the APC presidential flag bearer for the coming 2023 general elections, even though it was claimed on his page on Twitter that it took time before Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo congratulated the primary election winner, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu.

I congratulate Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu on his victory in our party primaries and as the Presidential Candidate and Flagbearer of our great party, the APC, for the upcoming 2023 Presidential Elections.

I also congratulate President Muhammedu Buhari and all leaders of the APC for a successful special convention and presidential proclamation.

For many decades, our flagbearer has shown passion, patriotism, courage and determination in the cause of nation building. His lasting contributions to our democracy and its progress stand him out. His wealth of experience will certainly be critical in our party’s continued efforts to attain a more secure and prosperous Nigeria.

To all members of our great party, regardless of who you voted for in the primaries, we must now rally behind our Presidential Candidate and Flagbearer in order to ensure our party’s victory in the 2023 elections.
