Pro-Tinubu’s Educational Boost: 50,000 Students Receive JAMB Form

NewsReport indicates that the South-East Renewed Hope Agenda has launched a scholarship program to cover the cost of JAMB registration forms for 50,000 disadvantaged students across the South‑East.

SERHA National Coordinator, Belusochukwu Enwere, flagged off the project in Owerri, the Imo State capital, on Thursday, starting with 10,000 indigent students in Imo State.

The event brought together several youths and SSS3 students.

Enwere said the initiative, backed by President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aims to remove financial barriers to higher education, adding that upon admission, the students will access NELFUND to pay their school fees.

According to him, each state in the South-East will have 10,000 beneficiaries, bringing the total to 50,000 students.

He said the gesture was to lighten the burden on parents, even as he commended educators for their selfless efforts in teaching students.

Further, he said SERHA’s programme aligns with Tinubu’s national education agenda, which includes student loans and school infrastructure upgrades.

He said the South-East, known for its entrepreneurial spirit, will use the scholarships to nurture future leaders, engineers, doctors, and innovators.

Enwere said, “Each scholarship covers the full cost of JAMB registration, giving 10,000 deserving students per state the chance to step confidently into university or polytechnic.

“President Tinubu, in his wisdom, has made education a cornerstone of the Renewed Hope Agenda. From the Student Loan Scheme to infrastructure revamps in our schools, his administration is weaving a tapestry of progress that includes every region, every tribe, every child.

“This scholarship is your launchpad. Seize it with both hands. Study with passion, dream with audacity, and remember that your success is Nigeria’s success.

“To the parents and guardians: Your sacrifices have not been in vain. Today, we stand with you, easing the burden so your children can soar. To our educators: You are the unsung architects of destiny; continue molding these young minds with excellence,” Enwere said.

He disclosed that SERHA will monitor and mentor recipients to ensure the scholarships translate into tangible academic success.

The event brought together secondary school leavers, as well as SSS3 students and their teachers, who turned out in large numbers, including students with physical disabilities.

One of the beneficiaries, Akor Peters, on crutches from Ahiazu Mbaise, thanked the organisers for the gesture and pledged his commitment to study and pass the examination.

On her part, Sophia Oluebube from Oru East described the gesture as commendable and expressed hope of scoring high in the JAMB examinations.
