Pastor Adeboye of RCCG gave me the name “Abraham, Father of Nations”- Tinubu

The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has disclosed the name that Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the leader of the RCCG, provided him.

One of the largest pentecostal congregations in the world, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has a general overseer.

In a viral video, Tinubu described how Adeboye referred to him as Abraham after Remi, his wife, received her pastorate. NewsReport learned.

He made the revelation in Kano during a meeting with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Tijaniyya sect, and other Islamic groups.

“The day my wife ordained a pastor, I was there. Pastor Adeboye gave me Abraham. I said what is the meaning, he said to watch out…the father of nations,” he said.

During the parely, the former Lagos governor took a swipe at one of his opponents in the presidential race.

“Between all of us running, we are three now left. One just failed the most important part of the examination. Are you a unifier or a divider? He said I’m from the North”, he said.

The event was attended by the Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, APC chieftains, and other dignitaries.
