#OsunDecides2022: Adeyanju provides an update on the PDP’s current lead over the APC.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is prevailing over the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the current election in Osun state, according to Nigerian activist Deji Adeyanju.
But the attorney cautioned that it was still too soon to celebrate, adding that everyone’s attention needed to be on Ile Ife and that many people shouldn’t forget what happened in the 2018 election.
He wrote: “PDP is flogging APC in Osun but everyone should still focus on Ile Ife. Don’t forget 2018. This was how they rigged late at night.”
Currently, the PDP is in the lead according to results on the portal of the Independent National Electoral Commission. The PDP is currently ahead with about 8,000 votes.
