Nnamdi Kanu’s family Clarifies that the sit-at-home order is Still in Effect.

News Report gathered that the family of Nnamdi Kanu, the jailed leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has repeated its position on the counter-order to suspend the pro-Biafra group’s earlier proclaimed sit-at-home order.

This online information leaned that Emmanuel Kanu, the IPOB leader’s brother, defended his elder brother Kanunta, who issued the counter-order, saying he (Kalunta) acted on orders from above.

“In regard to the sit-at-home order, there was a directive issued to Chika Edoziem, in charge of the Directorate of State (DOS), through IPOB counsel, Ifeanyi Ejimofor, that it should be suspended for reasons meant to benefit our people.”

“We don’t know why Edoziem was unable to carry out the command. Why didn’t he go ahead and do it? Kanunta, in fact, accomplished exactly what he couldn’t do “.

“We felt that by attempting to change the sit-at-home order, the family was not undermining IPOB ideals, but rather trying not to play our already marginalized people, particularly our children, into the hands of our enemy, we needed to give them a sense of belonging, especially our children taking exams.”

We appreciate what everyone is doing to make Biafra a success, and we appreciate what everyone is doing to make it a success, adding that it is always instructional for everyone to work according to directions.

Emmanuel predicted that IPOB would become stronger by the day to meet the challenges ahead while wishing its leadership the wisdom to continue to steer the ship.

He stated the family appreciates what IPOB’s leadership has done since their leader’s incarceration, but that certain topics require greater understanding and caution.

He explained that the family’s stance on the sit-at-home order is a manner of giving Biafrans a sense of belonging rather than forsaking one of IPOB’s techniques for actualizing the battle.

“We love everyone because no one is flawless; we appeal for more understanding and collaboration to achieve our common objective of realizing Biafra and freeing our people from oppressors’ shackles.”
