In terms of fossil fuel resources, he stated the country faces challenges such as energy delivery and quality, as well as clean energy.
“The issues are access to energy and education, renewable energy and how to be able to move quickly enough in terms of putting renewable energy in place.”
Osinbajo highlighted funding challenges in developing countries as they respond to climate change, preparation for adaptation and implications of the Paris Agreement.
The agreement comprises a $100 billion per year pledge by wealthier economies to help developing economies respond to climate challenges.
