Legacy Promo: UBA Rewards 30 Customers in August Draw
In commemoration of its 75th anniversary, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc has awarded 30 distinguished customers over N17 million during the August draw.
The announcement of the winners took place following a live draw on August 31, 2024, at the bank’s headquarters, with oversight from representatives of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) to ensure the integrity of the process.
In the premier category, ten bumper account holders each received N1 million, including Joshua Izenobor, Chigozie Victor Abel, Cornelius Peter Nwankwo, Joy Esele Asibor, Mohammed Abubakar, Marachi Jenifer Kevin, Chidinma J. Okoronkwo, Saidu Ahmadu, Philomena Ezekiel, and Peace Ogechi Idoko.
In the secondary tier, ten customers were granted N500,000 each: Elizabeth Warekoromor, Deborah Ijeoma Simon, Prince Chukwuamago, Yohanna Cyrus, Aishatu Aliyu, Djachi Ben-Ikezam, Tibebi Glory Esiteh, Emmanuel C. Udekwe, Ozima Friday Asiku, and Beauty Danasabe.
The third tier recognized another ten account holders, each receiving N250,000: Olusegun Oke, Salisu Adamu, Sola Deborah Adeyeye, Chidozie Nwachukwu, Gloria Abimaje, Anyiwe Stephen Ifeanyi, Kehinde F Adefemiwa, Oluwakemi Olushola Olayande, Adamu Hajara Adamu, and Ruth Adugba.
Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail & Digital Banking, extended congratulations to the winners and encouraged other customers to save for future opportunities, emphasizing that the bank intends to reward 75 winners in each category, amounting to an additional 195 prizes over the coming months.
“This marks merely the onset of our legacy promotion, with an abundance of prizes yet to be unveiled. We urge our loyal customers to adhere to the guidelines, as they may be the next to attain millionaire status,” stated Fashola.
Alero Ladipo, UBA’s Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, underscored that the draw is not profit-oriented but rather focused on cultivating customer loyalty.
“This initiative underscores UBA’s dedication to recognizing its customers and fostering a culture of savings. The Legacy Promo is a component of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts aimed at giving back to society,” added Ladipo.
