In Katsina, Troops kill a Terrorist Leader and Eight Others.

A raid by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Saturday in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State resulted in the deaths of eight suspected terrorists, including their gang leader, Abdulkarim Faca-faca.
NewsReport that team of the Nigerian Air Force reportedly carried out an airstrike on Faca-faca on Saturday while raiding terrorist hideouts in the Marina-Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State.
DAILY POST gathered from some of the locals that while some of the terrorists escaped with gun wounds, all their rustled animals perished in the airstrike.
Hon. Abduljalal Haruna Runka, the lawmaker representing Safana in Katsina State House of Assembly, confirmed the report while speaking to DAILY POST on phone.
“It is true. Nigeria Air Force raid the area late evening yesterday, Saturday and the mop up operation extended to this morning. Bandits leader, Abdulkarim and eight of his boys were killed in the process,” Runka said
Runka also noted that the remains of Faca-faca and his gang members were buried in his home town, Marina, Sunday morning.
Abdulkarim Faca-faca, is suspected to be among the terrorists gang that led the attack on President Muhammadu Buhari’s advance convoy to Katsina during the last Sallah holiday.
Similarly, the Katsina State Police Command also succeeded in raiding some terrorists hideouts at Tandama Village in Danja LGA of the state. Six persons abducted by the assailants were rescued in the course of the operation

gave the name of those rescued as follows:
“52 years old Alh. Garba DanMallam, of Unguwar Nuhu, Danja LGA, Rabiu Idris 45, of the same address, Abba Samaila 38, of the same address, Yunusa Sani 54, of Layin Sani village, Kafur, Ishaq Yakub 40, of the same address, Danjuma Samaila 45, of the same address,” he said.
