Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu wrote on his twitter handle a few hours after he was declared the APC presidential primary winner that he triumped among other contestants, including Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo, who had been the choice of the people, NewsReport gathered.
When Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo was about to give his remarks at the All Peoples Congress party APC convention, people were chanting, “You are the man we want,” but it was a big disappointment that he could not take the lead, which was taken by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
”I am a unifying leader, I have constructed a formidable political structure, one that has delivered electoral victory after electoral victory. I do not now put myself forward because I think this nomination is my due. I step forward because I believe I can lead our party towards its brightest future”
