Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the majority chief whip, revealed it in a tweet on Thursday.
NewsReport learned that the project will travel through four regions: Western, Central, Eastern, and Greater Accra, according to the Nsawam-Adoagyiri legislator.
Parts of his tweet stated that “eight distribution stations would be created, and one will be stationed in Nsawam (a mini-plant)”.
“These are the names of the towns that the gas pipeline will pass through in Nsawam: Damming, Nsawam, Nsumia, Fotobi, Amafrom, Sakyikrom, Anof, Owuraku, Afumkrom, Ahodzo, Doboro.”
“It is imperative to note that Ghana gas will recruit people to work in every area the gas pipeline will pass through. There is an ongoing ESI (Engineering and scientific investigation),” he said.
The lawmaker further divulged that the assessment will be completed in four weeks, and the number of towns will be confirmed accordingly.
