Ed Sheeran, a British singer, has revealed that he is obsessed with Fireboy DML’s ‘Peru,’ and that he plans to join the remix this December.
The Grammy winner revealed this during a 15-minute conversation with Elton John on Apple Music’s ‘Rocket Hour’ platform, adding that he finds the song addictive reported by NewsReport
Sheeran explained how he came to work with Fireboy:
“A week ago, he sent me his song ‘Peru,’ which I remixed. Someone, a friend of mine named Jamal [Edwards], who runs SBTV, forwarded it to me.
‘Fireboy DML would love you on the remix of this song, and I’ve just found it really intriguing,’ he says. So I recorded a verse for it, and it’s a song that’s currently blowing up in Nigeria and Ghana, and their club scene is running over Christmas.’
“So you basically put a song to the club in the middle of December, which seems odd in England.” But, yeah, I remixed this song, but the original is just an earworm, it’s addictive, and I’m obsessed with it.
“I mean, Cherry will tell you, I’ve had this song on repeat for the last week in the house.”
