Fidelity Bank MD Commends Soludo for Debt-Free Infrastructure Growth

Fidelity Bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Nneka Onyali-Ikpe, has praised Anambra State’s ongoing infrastructure development. She expressed amazement that the numerous projects undertaken by Governor Charles Soludo were state-funded without putting the state into debt.
Dr. Onyali-Ikpe, whose curiosity was sparked by Governor Soludo’s extensive projects during a tour on Wednesday in Awka, stated, “I am very impressed with the quality, size, and finishing of the projects being executed in this state without borrowing from financial institutions.”
Out of curiosity, the Fidelity Bank leader said, “I’m interested in knowing how Soludo is building all this infrastructure without borrowing money.”

Dr. Onyali-Ikpe, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Protocol to Governor Soludo, inspected various projects, including the ongoing Anambra State Government House and Lodge with Amphitheater and the Solution Fun City, a center for fun and celebrations, among others.
While expressing her surprise at the infrastructural transformation that has made Anambra a destination for businesses and visitors, she said, “I’m blown away by the size of the infrastructure that I’m seeing today. The contemporary architecture, the finishing, and the size of it are impressive. I’m excited that we finally have something that befits our state—Anambra.”
“I’m impressed and convinced that the governor has done a fantastic job with all the infrastructure he’s building in our state,” she stated.
With the ongoing and completed projects in the state, Governor Soludo is redefining governance and repositioning Anambra as a land of opportunities for investors.
