Fanu has been Appointed by Gov. Sanwo-Olu as Lasu Acting Registrar.

Mr Emmanuel Fanu has been appointed as the acting Registrar of the Lagos State University, Ojo, by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

 

NewsReport Nigeria reports that the Surrogate Council of the institution and the Special Adviser on Education, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, supported Fanu’s appointment, according to a statement from the Coordinator of the Centre for Information Press and Public Relations, LASU, Mr Ademola Adekoya.

 

Fanu was the deputy registrar and secretary of LASU’s Post Graduate School until his appointment.

 

The statement indicated Fanu’s position would last till the 9th Vice-selection Chancellor’s procedure was completed.

 

“The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a visitor to the Lagos State University, has approved the suggestion of the university’s Surrogate Council (Special Adviser on Education) to designate Mr Emmanuel Fanu as interim Registrar, Lagos State University,” the statement said.

 

“Mr Fanu was the deputy registrar and secretary of the university’s Post Graduate School before his new assignment.

 

“His position will be in effect until the 9th Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University is selected.”

 

Fanu was born on December 21, 1968, in Badagry, Lagos.
