Anthony Johnson, a 55-year-old comedian, and Friday star was declared dead earlier this month after being “discovered unresponsive at a store.”
NewsReport gathered that Johnson was brought to the hospital at the time after being discovered comatose in a Los Angeles shop.
He was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to his cousin, and the reason for death is yet unknown.
Before his most famous performance as Ezal in the 1995 comedy Friday, the comic acted in films such as Lethal Weapon 3 and Menace II Society. He rose to stardom in 1990 after landing the role of E.Z.E. in House Party. Johnson went on to build a reputation for himself in the Los Angeles stand-up comedy scene.
